Hello gents.I had the front emblem chromed for my 57.The main body was nicely done, but, the center part was not done properly. They chromed over all pits in the center and around the chevy logo.I'm attempting to do a repair myself.I've used my dremel with an emery bit to ream all the pits and to rough up the chrome. What can i use to fill the pits.I've had many suggestions, would like to hear your thoughts and input.I intend to paint the center after i do this. looking for the easiest but most enduring repair if possible.I know it should be stripped and rechromed, but, that is not an option dollar wise. The pits do not go all the way through.
Thank you in advance, Roy
