For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 1 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 1 | I just found a 1979 GMC 7000 truck with only sixteen hundred miles on it? It has been outside most of its life.I couldnt turn the engine with the fan so Im guessing its stuck,366 engine. Any ideas about the best way to free this engine? Also what other problems do you think I might run into. It has air brakes so they should be easier to deal with than hydraulic. Thanks | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,201 | Plus or minus 100,000 or 200,000? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 43 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 43 | If that is true and it is a wreck with only 1600 miles on it that would be just a sin. Its just makes me sick to see them rust away rather than wear out. | | |
