I'm ready to send off the GMC AM radio to have her guts ripped out and replaced with the cholesterol free goodies. All I really need is an Ipod input but understand that the radios will be made Am/Fm/Ipod which is OK by me. However, I’m unsure who to call; anybody on the board had this done before?

Any thoughts / warnings?

Many years back there was a shop in Denver CO named Deluxe Speedometer that did great things with old radios. The shop had been around forever and was a large AC Delco repair shop. The last time I was past their store it was empty, but someone informed me that they had just moved to a new and larger shop. Whether or not they're still around I can't say, this was maybe 6-7 years ago and I never followed up with getting the new location.
