I am putting a later engine in my '36 1 1/2 ton and based on the casting # 3837004 it is a 1955-57 T56X 235-261.
What does the T56X designation stand for and how do I find out if it is a 235 or 261 ?

Thank you both for the info.
Didn't really know what I was looking for when I picked it up and had a bit of luck. Just changing the ring and pinion and hopefully will end up with a decent, local, daily driver.
