I don't know the name of the part that goes under the rear doors (between the wood and the bumper), but I was wondering whether it is the same for all TF panels and suburbans? Basically, it is the piece that goes across the back that you would step on when getting into the rear of the truck. If it is not the same for all years, what years would match a '58?

same 55-59, 'burb or panel, doors or clamshell - called the rear door sill wink
if your's needs work, you might as well start workin, any used one you find from a truck bad enough to part out will have hidden corrosion underneath where it mates to the rest, and they're not reproduced

thanks. I know that most of them are bad, but just wanted to know so that I can keep my eyes open. Mine is not terrible, but I can always hope to run across one! I assume putting it in is a big job as well.
