I'm curious if there is any interest in a reproduction of the '55-'57 factory grill guards? These are the flat steel bar kind that silhouette the front of the fenders and hood, and mount to the top of the front bumper.

What would be a ball-park sellable price for one?

I don't know if there's a big market but I'd like to have one for my 3800. I'm planning to make one some day and I'm sure that by the time I'm finished with it I'll think that $150 would have been a good deal. Of course, cheaper is better. I don't know if it's feasible to make them to sell at that price though. Since these days they'll be purley ornamental, it might be practical to make them out of lighter steel than the originals.

I would think that shipping would be tough to do. Maybe.
