Does anyone know if it takes a lot of retro to put 60/40 seats out of a 99-06 silverado / sierra in 60 to 66 c-10? The only reason i am considering this is because of the seatbelts.

a welder and some stock make most any fabrication possible, I don't think it would be too much work as long as they are manual not electric. Take a look at the cab floor and imagine what kind of support structure would be necessary bolt in some of those seats...not too much

I figured that would be the case.I had seen it done in a few 65's on the enternet and just wandering if the floorpan had to be cut.

nahh...i had buckets in my AD that was just welded to the existing structure, key is you have to be bolted into good solid metal...obv.

Thanks for the advice and good luck with that 53 you have in the introduction section. I hope to have some pics of mine on there in a few days.

I put 2003 silverado seats in my 63 without much modification. I drilled the holes and on the bottom of the cab I used some washers that were about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Its larger than the original mount plate on bottom. The seats have been in for about a year. The seats I have are buckets and Im just now getting around to make a bracket for the center seat. Hope this was useful.

Hey just to let you guys know a donor bench seat from a 1988 dodge pickup went in without much more than drilling four holes. Still have to figure out how to get two of the nuts on the studs. The floor x-members are right in the area of where the studs stick through.
