Really hard to find, but worth it to keep looking.

I have one of Buffalo's modified 292 dampers, with two grooves, on my 261. So far, so good. If you are trying to make a two groove pulley for the stock water pump on a 235, here is what I did. I used a stock one groove pulley from a 350 and cut a second one groove 350 pulley to fit on the shout of the first 350 pulley. I basically removed the snout off of it and slipped on the first pulley. I adjusted it to line up with the two grooves on my two two groove harmonic balancer, spaced it out slightly and welded the second groove pulley on the snout to line up with outside groove on the balancer. It works great and looks very acceptable.

It was strange seeing a 6 cylinder 2 door wagon with dealer installed air,the compressor was just as large as one for a caddy and would imagine it bogged down the 235 some. | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 93 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 93 | I have the balancer issue taken care of. I am using a dual groove balancer for a 250. | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 93 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 93 | Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't want to put a lot of work into manufacturing or modifying something and then find out that there is an easy alternative. | | |
