I want to redo the the face on my 35 truck speedo,amp.oil.gas.etc I got a new stick on kit what do I need to do this myself do all the needels just pull off someone told me the speedo does but not sure on the others has anyone done this? I have not started yet

It took some time to decipher your question because of your lack of punctuation. Re-facing gauges is tedious work. If you are in too much of a hurry to type correctly I doubt you have the patience to do a good job on the faces.

The speedometer needle will pull off the shaft. The other needles will not. You have to carefully slip the face decal over the needle and get the decal lined up properly before setting it on the surface.

Be sure you get the face clean and lint free before placing the decals. Microscopic imperfections become big bumps when the new face is installed.

The odometer wheels must have the numbers installed in the same place as the original numbers to properly function. Before cleaning them, make a scribe mark on the side of the wheel exactly between the 0 and 9. After they are cleaned the numbers will be gone and the scribe mark will be all you have to go by.

As I said, it is tedious work. But the pretty new faces will look nice.

The above tips are not for your year truck, but maybe you can pick up some helpful info.

As stated above be sure the surfaces are clean.
I gave each surface a small spray of glass cleaner before applying the decal so I could reposition it, if needed.

Take the advise given on the odometer/spedo also. Otherwise the numbers will not index properly.
