My 216 truck is missing the draft tube. Question is what will this effect, and where can I find one??? Thanks, Paul

You need it for proper ventilation & keep water & dirt out of the engine. Post an ad in parts wanted. I'm sure some of the fellow bolters have some laying around or on salvaged vehicles.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

The draft tube helps in keeping the oil from the pan from splashing out when you're driving around and it helps moving air thru the engine to get rid of water vapor , There are alot of old 216s out there I would think if you put an ad in "parts wanted" section here you'll find someone with one .
