Can't tell what part number or description in my parts books. It's the one that has a female flare fitting pointing back toward the valve cover. I got an NOS PCV kit but the small parts were missing. Anybody know what PCV valve goes in there? I have an AC CV469 (5647228) that seems like it should work but I am unsure of its exact application. The person I bought it from said 47-53 truck.

I got my 1960 261 from Leon Thompson (it had been bored .060 over in 1972).
The later PCV set-up is different from the pre-1954 set-up. Will you be using the 2-bolt valve cover or a 4-bolt valve cover?

I have an Offenhauser 2 bolt aluminum valve cover, and a 4 bolt cover with the vent slots. I'll probably drill and tap a hole in the Offy cover and thread in a hose adaptor. I have a hose fitting from a later air cleaner that I will transfer to my air cleaner. The later PCV tubes don't have an oil fill cap, they're sealed, and didn't they move the PCV valve to the manifold? This early one fits my block and the pre-bent steel tube looks like it will go right to that magic tee. Hard to tell exactly since my engine is in the house in my office as a bare long block.
