I'm pretty sure they are the same as the solid lifter versions...solid. The rocker assembly is the same on both models, so that means the lube for the rockers is still pumped from a source to the center oiler, through the shafts and out the little drip holes in the bottom (gravity).
I think other than the shaft oiling, all other points are lubed by the 'incidental mist' method.

The oil comes out of the rocker arm bearings and kind of drips along the shaft and into the cup on the end of the rocker arm, then runs down the shaft and into the lifter gallery. You can run a 235 with no valve cover and see it in action. There's plenty of oil up there.
