i have a '56 3100 and am beginning the process of rebuilding the bed and need new bedsides. i can get a pair of perfect bedsides from an early 80's stepside. i know the fender mounting holes would not line up, but other than that - could i use such a late part on my early truck? are they otherwise dimensionally equivalent?
