| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 64 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 64 | I had the parking brake handle chromed and am reinstalling it. I know it should be simple but it doesn't feel right the way I have it. There are only four items the parking brake lever, the parking rod{the skinny rod running down to engage} the handle itself and a small spring like unit . I attached the rod to the chrome handle , put this onto the parking brake lever, and then inserted the spring into the front bolt of the parking handle with it going back thur the lever. This works but the handle does not function smoothly. Do I have this spring in properly? | | |
