I am restoring a 1958 chevy apache with only 105,000 original miles on it. The only thing not original however is the rims. Can anyone tell me where i could find some. Or what years will fit and accept the original hubcap.

Welcome to Stovebolt! I beleive '57-'60 wheels should work, those years all used the same hubcap. One thing that might help in your search, though, would be to list what size truck you're working with, 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton.

1/2 Ton '58's had 15" and 16" wheels. 6 hole bolt pattern. The proper wheel will also have 3 tabs rivited to the rim that hold the hubcap on.

I just re did my 15" wheels, I found 4 of them on craigslist from someone that was making a hot rod. I had them sand blasted for $100, and new whitewalls from Tucker Tire for $480.

Key to the old rivited rims, is make SURE you clean the rivets well, and coat them with a sealant on the inside of the rim, before the tires go on. That will help them from the inevitable slow leak. I used a marine sealer. (3M 4200)
