From factory was there a 1 ton or bigger pick-up made in 1957? With a regular box and fenders?

Hy 57DanR, as far as I know there were no pickups larger than the one ton models in 1957, I think 3803 is the model number for the American one ton pickup, but I'm not positive about that.

yes, 3804 [3G on the vin] ... and your 3604 could have been ordered with a higher GVW option that would have been the rear springs [and maybe axle] of the 3800 - the 3600 had 17.5 rims and the 3800 had 19.5's

Ah HA! I thought there was a larger pick-up! Thanks for the info!
It is interesting finding out info about these trucks. I do have the 6900 gvw and 8 bolt rims and extra springs in the back. Our truck has 64K original miles and it all stock currently. It needs a lot of work I just can't wait to get on that project.
