He is having a problem getting it to work properly. The motor works perfectly, the problem is that when it sweeps to the right (passengers side) it hits the center divider of the windsheld and stops. Apparently it isn't moving far enough to the right to cause the motor to reverse directions. It does park in the proper position on the left. Is there any kind of adjustment on the motor to reduce the angle of sweep? He does have an afer market arm & blade on it. It's possible that the blade is too long to allow the arm to move far enough to reverse directions. Can some one give me the original lenght of the blade and arm. This might be the problem. Or perhaps some sort of adjustment is in order. I'll measure my '38 tomorrow if no one has the correct length. From memory the blade on my '38 is 8" I think. I have no idea about the arm.

I switched back to the old anco setup that was on the truck when I got it (its an aftermarket but its probably from the 80's). Anyway the arm from center of where its mounts to the cab to the center of the wiper blade mount is 10.5", the blade on mine is 8.25", and the overall tip of the blade to the center of where it mounts to the cab is about 14.625". The blade on mine swivels a few degrees on the arm too, so when the arm sweeps to the far extents (full L&R) the blade turns some and gets almost parallel to the center divider. The new one I got didn't swivel but overall it is almost exactly the same dimensions. Hope this helps, I'm home sick today, so if you need more measurements, let me know. I think it will work once we get the right length. Should be pretty similar to your '41.
