I'm buying a short stepside bed without the bumper. I really like the looks of those big wrap around ones made out of diamond plate, but all I can find from the parts stores is the small chrome ones. Do the big bumpers have a specific name? Are they original?

Jake, what year of truck are you considering?
I know the bumper you mean,I just can't remember who made them.
AFAIK they were an aftermarket item.
Funny though, most guys that have them usually remove them...

If I find out any more info,i'll let you know.
