This is the first place I came so any help is alot of help.

The exhaust gas gets hot enough to blue and bake chrome off. The only way to keep it somewhat shiny is to fabricate a double walled stainless system like found on a motorcycle, which is quite expensive and difficult for a flange mounted exhaust.
