Does anyone have photos of a fuel tank on a 1947 or 1948 3/4 ton long bed?

Also, know where I can get a new one? I want to compare your photos to my tank to be sure it is original.

Thank you,
Keith

Got pictures from a 1/2 ton if you like. Bowtie bits, Jim Carter, American Classic Truck Parts are a few that carry tanks, most of them galvanized. Good luck.

The Suburban gas tank is almost identical, except for the filler tube. Jim Carter sells the reproduction and lists them for both the 1947/48 Trucks and the 1947/55 Suburban/Panel/Canopy Express.

These are pictures of a 48 2 ton tank and brackets, the filler neck may have been changed slightly from original, not sure.

In the master parts catalog you could see if if it is the same as a pickup, I don't know.

It was for sale and I had an ad in the swap-meet section but think it expired...
