Hi guys,
I have a quick question, I'm selling a 59 235 in my 48 3100 mated to the original 3 speed, bellhousing, etc. I have gentleman that is interrsted in purchasing the engine for his 48 3/4 ton panel with the original 4 spd. Would the 235 bolt up the original 4sp trans and bell housing? I know everything worked like a charm on my 3100 with the 3sp but I'm not sure about the 4spd?

Thanks,
-Rich

Yes, if it worked in your 1948 3100 with original 3-speed, it should be a drop-in fit to a 1948 with original 4-speed
