| | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 96 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 96 | Somebody posted some great pics of a gorgeous 216 at sombody's request. Does anybody have any pics of a 1959ish 235 that would help me get mine looking good and original?
Also, does anybody have any advice about painting an engine? It's my first time building one, and its down to the bare block, all machined and pretty. Should I paint it before I put it together? Can I use something like plasticote or a similar $5 spray can? and what about the other parts (pumps and electrical components and stuff)?
Also, what do people think about Fenton headers you can get from Chevy duty or stovebolt? Can you use them and the stock intake manifold?
Any advice would be great!

Click this link: Engine Pics web page  You also might want to use the search function to search for "high temp paint" and "engine paint". I would search in the lounge, the engine and driveline shop, as well as the paint shop. Same for fentons and intakes. Gud luk.
