I know some people have put a 1950 chevy truck 1/2 ton body on an s10 chassis, i've even seen a couple on a 4x4, I was wondering if anyone has heard of one placed on a Dodge dakota chassis? I have a 2000 in good shape except the body and would like to make the switch. The frame width is within a half an inch but the wheelbase is 4" shorter than the chevy, but i think maybe i can take that out of the bed,or come up with some other solution.

There's a guy over on the HAMB is building an AD truck on a Dakota chassis.
He hangs out in the ADTruckers social group and goes by the name T Hudson.
In fact I was just checking out his update this morning.
I would provide a link but you would need to sign in.
I'm not suggesting you defect to another site but it might be worth a look.
Many of us here jump back and forth between sites,so I may see you there!
Good luck.
