The letter W is stamped on the case at the upper rear. Various previous posts indicate it's a Warner.

It will stand up well behind that engine. I,m running a T-5 behind mine. It,s a little light for it but I figure if I don,t abuse it it will last.

The Warner must be much less prevalent because many transmission mechanics have told me that the only three speeds they've worked on have been basically car units installed in trucks.
