I have a 1957 cab and clib license plates and title, and a 73 k30 flat bed no cab or clip. im gona start mocking things up next paycheck, check where I need to put the frame mounts, its that all it requires? relocating the frame mounts? can i use the 73 cab mounts or should I find some 57 mounts clean em up and weld them to the 73 frame? I just need to do the cab and front clip everything else is already there. if anyone has any info on this swap id appreciate it, thanks!

Try this website: http://www.e-zchassisswaps.com/ they have a kit to put a 1955-59 body on a 1973-87 frame. I'm thinking of doing it myself. I keep going back and forth about what I want to do with mine. I keep them in my favorites so that when it's time I can do a cost estimate.
