Probably wouldn't have noticed this before but now that I have the valve cover off.... Jeeze. Appears it is leaking from the seam in the middle of the hood. Is there something i can do to stop this without pulling off the seam trim on the top of the hood?? Sorry if this has been covered before, didn't pull anything up in a search.

Btw, must be my lucky day. Turns out my new 2010 king ranch f-150 is leaking water on my back leather seats. I even went to mass this sunday. dang

Other than removing the strip and caulking the seam I wouldn't know. You have to stop leaks at the point of entry, not the point of exit.

GM didn't care if rain got under the hood so that isn't really a "leak", the valve cover is where the leak is wink

Guess I'll let the dogs lie on this one, for now. The oil and gas shut off valve leaks are definitely more burning issues.
