Year, make, model?

Are you referring to the "C-clips" that hold the material to the bottom/back of the cushion frame? (American Classic UP220)

Never saw that one on any of the five AD trucks that I've had the seats out of. Must be something specific to the big trucks or could it have been something they used if the seat was re-upholstered????

My experience is limited. I have only seen the c-clips on original upholstery and hog rings on re-upholstery.

My 3100 had the same Z-BAR on its seat ,I removed it back in 1996.The seats both looked factory and untouched since new .Both had been covered over. The last seat I just took out of my 4400 had three covers over the factory one.I haven't seen this as a reproduction anywhere will ask the upholstery shop see what they know.Thank you both for your help. I still need a new one if they are reproduced ?
