I sent Jim Carters a photo of my rear motor mounts and they said they havent ever seen them. I have a 1946 one ton GMC with a 261 engine that has been replaced from the original 228.the transmission is a 4 speed and has a 11" clutch. The rear motor mounts are round cone shaped rubber bushings housed in a steel housing that bolts to the crossmember in the frame. If anyone knows where I can find replacement bushings for this rear motor mount I would be forever greatfull.I tried the search page but had no luck, please help I do not want to reuse these as they are in poor condition Thans again for your help

What you describe sounds like what I took out of my truck and replaced with the original style. If you want mine, that is if I can find them you are welcome to them. I'd like to see the picture, where is it? Dave

That's what my old mounts look like, I'm not positive if I still have them, go with those NOS mounts above. Dave

Pre 68 dave I am looking for an original set of rear mounts for a 41 228 engine. These are two pieces with one mounting to the housing and the second going into the first one but mounting down into the cross frame . You don't have by chance?
