Hi guys new here..and new owner of a 1952 3/4 Ton...

Got a quick question for anyone who knows..
(although I've ordered all of the manuals I'd like to know now)

Was this Configuration in springs as exists a standard set up, or has this been added to with extra helpers?

Looks normal to me.. But if the overload spring perches on the frame don't look factory then the helper springs may not be original, didn't see a picture of them.

Only mods I saw anywhere that was "out of character" were the Shock mount "Extra meat" that someone had welded in..looks the shock mount on the left side had started to rip and someone welded the gap and added the pieces.

that spring set just looks like a heavy, heavy duty set up...thought maybe it had been beefed up beyond "showroom"

they were optional. I dont know whether you got them from the dealer or ordered from the factory.

Got my factory assembly manual today...the spring assembly shows to fit models:

5000-6102-6103-6108
6112-6402-6403-6408
6412-6500

Dang...that's some heavy meat under there...what the heck was he hauling....:>)
