Drivers door has a mirror and I would like to install one on the passenger side.

There are no holes or anything there.

Are there pre-installed threaded fittings under the door skin that need to be located or do they have to be installed ?

always useful to indicate a year, different series can be totally different ... I believe you've got a 56? should be able to see the mirror mount reinforcing plate looking inside with the door trim panel off
