In 1954/55, the stock/single horn was mounted on the radiator frame/housing (front side); and, optional/accessory dual horns on the radiator frame/housing (front side). The 1954 radiator frames/housings are different in 1954, having captive nuts for mounting single or dual horns.
Prior to 1954, the single horn was mounted on the forward side of the intake manifold; and, prior to 1954, the dual horns were to be
mounted on the firewall (over the hole for the deluxe heater motor, I think); however, people mounted the dual horns in several places, including to an inner fender.
