The 292 carb has a larger throttle bore than a 250 or 230.

If you have one, get a 1967. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 35 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 35 | I have a monojet on it now, should I leave it on ? How does a pcv hook up yo a carb ? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | The PCV hose hooks to a tube in the intake masnifold on the 3-4 intake runner. Either carb will work if the linkage & fuel line are hooked up. The 292 comes with a larger bore but often it has been replaced with a 230-250 carb. The rebuilders just mix them up. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
