I would assume so but mine does not look as if there is any sort of channel or bolt holes or any sort of method of attaching the rubber around the door and windsheild. How is the rubber installed? | | | | | | OLTrucks Unregistered | | OLTrucks Unregistered | Door no, Windshield yes, the only type of seal for the doord was the cab windlace it is held to the inside opening of the cab around the door opening by metal retainer strips that are screwed in place. As for the windshield it would have a rubber seal around the outside where it would mash and seal next to the cab as it is closed and it is held in place by a channel around the outside of the windshield frame. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 252 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 252 | OlTrucks is correct windlace around the doors and the rubber for the windshield fits in the frame. There is another option for the windshield though. If your not using the original frame and windshield crank you can get a v-butt seal with a one piece glass but windshield is fixed in place and no way to open. I thinkn Jim Carter has them along with Chevy of the 40's. | | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | The rubber seal around the windshield fits into a " T " slot on the window frame ( push out part ). Best source for seal, and center vertical bar piece is Steeles Rubber. I tried first from jim Carter - rubber was hard / impossible to install. Ordered from Steeles - very flexible / fits great. | | |
