Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 44 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 44 | ...I've going to be pulling out the 235 I6, 3 speed tranny and rear end out of my 54 panel. I won't be needing them anymore. The engine was running great when I parked it, the tranny was popping out of all three gears (so it needs a rebuild), enclosed drive shaft and, the rear. BTW, the engine has a Clifford 6=8 intake and a Holley model 2300 260CFM. Now's the time to speak up if someone wants to make a deal on this stuff. I'm looking for the parts to replace them and I'd rather have someone buy them (or trade) that can appreciate them rather than make a deal at the local salvage yards. Let me know soon. I may be trying to pull the rear out this weekend. Go to the top of the page and follow the link to the swap meet. Sounds like it might be a nice engine for someone.
By the way, you have to register separately in the swap meet. The forums and the swap meet don't use the same user database.

I think you might get more for the intake and carb than for the rest put together. Maybe there is a local stovebolter that really needs an engine.

I'll probably just run it to the yard and be done with it... Thanks, guys!
