Hello,
I'm looking at a '54 3600 pickup, it advartised as a 3/4 ton, but its a dually... I looked around here and on the interned in general, and didn't find anything about the 3/4 ton comming as a dually. Is that original? Also, there is no bed, was there a dually truck bed with fenders or did they only do duallys as a flat bed?

There was a dual wheel option on 3/4 ton at least up to the late '60s. The dual wheel trucks would not have come with a pickup bed.

Thanks for the info, is there a bed that will fit, or fenders that will work aftermarket or otherwise? I like the dually look but would really like normal truck bed. The flat bed is more farm truck looking than what I'm going for.

I beleive there are wider stepside fenders available, if you don't mind using fiberglas. You'll have to make your own running boards, though, as I thing the tapered boards they make to go with the fenders are for 1/2 ton only.

Duals became an option on 3/4-ton trucks starting in '54.

Check the serial number and wheelbase to determine what it really is.

I have one of these rides better than my 55 1st series pickup. I have the grain box mine could be why it rides better with all the weight. Great trucks
