Just read this tech tip,
Thanks to Bears63 for a great write up:
http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/interior/heater_control/index.html

Question: Can the two lever control be converted to a 4 lever or is the backside different?
Thanks
Pete

I have a 2 lever in my 63 and im in the process of ordering an a/c kit for it from Classic Auto Air. In the installation manual for that kit it converts the 2 lever to a 4 lever. I dont know exactly how much work it will be to modify. I dont know if they you can get the parts you need from that website (without buying the complete kit) but its probably a good starting point. Good luck

You can swap out to 4 lever controls but in order for the controls to have their proper usage you also need the entire deluxe heater assembly. There are major differences between the 2 lever recirculating heater and the 4 lever deluxe heater.
