Does anyone have any tips on installing the stainless steel door trim that surrounds the door card inserts? I bought mine from LMC truck and when I attempt to tighten down the screws that hold the cardboard insert to the door the cardboard pops out of the trim. Any insight would be much appreciated!

In the four years that I've been back in the loop Pete, I haven't seen any of them that fit the door panels right out of the box.
My solution was to make a 1/8" thick sheet metal form that matched the four radius of the door panel. Then with it mounted up in the vise I used a body hammer to reshape the corners till they fit the door panel. Pretty typical of most of the stuff we get from the vendor, not to much different than Harbor Freight, that is, you have to rework most of it to make it work!

After all the bragging LMC seems to do about how great their parts are; I am somewhat dis-illusioned!
