For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 11 | Hey y'all,
Will the horn relay off a 57 passenger car work on a 59 truck? I just thought I'd ask before I went wading through the briars and the copper heads to get one to try.

As Bill points out, as long as they are both 12v and the current draw is probably the same. DG

The one I scavenged off a 57 wagon appears identical to my 59 truck and works perfectly. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 252 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 252 | Glad it worked, if needed in the future a simple 12vdc Bosch type relay would do the same and easy to come by. | | |
