| | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 693 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 693 | i have a couple of nice 57 fenders that i plan to use on my 56. they have that flat spot near the grille that the 55.2/56 fenders do not have. i guess i have a couple of choices here:
1) forget about the difference, put on my 56 grille and live with it (how noticeable will this be? i'd like to show the truck from time to time)
2) use a 57 grille (will it fit and conceal this feature of the 57 fenders?)
3) fill/cut out the fender notch and make the 57 fenders look like 56 fenders (is this feasible?)
what are the thoughts of the group?

Done wrong or not at all and it IS obvious the mis match. My vote cut and fill.
