i built this YEARS ago and put over 125,000 miles on it before a brake leak combined with an injury parked it till later this year.
panel body only purchased in 93 from charles bronson(not that one!) front left firewall corner damaged beyond repair in what was most certainly a fatal crash.
looked at it for 2-3 years before buddy came over with sawzall and made me cut out whole firewal from windshield posts forward.
my webpage with pictures i then robbed a 50 truck for its frame, made body mounts(holes are there for sub/panel bodies already)
stripped a 76 camaro of engine, replaced cracked 305 heads, got wreck yard used 700R4, and took the front clip and grafted into ym frame.
grabbed 81 transam 3.42 posi axle and installed with station wagon springs.
would have done lots differently now but...
got new glass, drove it for about 50 miles and took a 10,000 mile 26 state test drive in 1997. continued to use it for my dailly driver until my injury in 2004 made it so i couldnt fix a brake problem.
im reviving it now and need to construct a new alum gas tank-custom, fix a few wiring issues, a leaky brake line and start driving it again.
