Hi Folks: Apparently the whining noise coming from my Transfer Case is it's death knell. It is a Rockwell T-221 M6. Anybody have a good working unit for sale, or good donor parts? Or, any ideas on getting rebuild kits? Thanks Bill

Patricks only has bearing kits for the rear differentials, and the Saginaw 4 speed conversion. None for transfer cases. But, I did find overhaul kits for the Rockwell T221 here. There is also a transfer case/transmissin combo on Ebay right now. It's out of a '69 GMC.

There are no t-case parts lsted in the catalog or on the site. Perhaps they got the parts from a different company with a similar name.

He usually has a 221 kit on his shelf- all the bearings, seals, gaskets.
I just looked at my transaction with him for this- it was $278.72 out the door, but I picked it up, so it was $250 + tax.
(this was not me)

anyway the fellows name is patrick, which is what I said as that was all that I knew at that time. (it is not Patrick's)

hope that clarifies things

Hi Ron,

Sorry for the delay. Here is the information where I bought the transfer
case seals, gaskets and shims. Patrick was extremely helpful in
identifying what I needed.

Patrick

Quoted $120.46 for Seals, Gaskets, and Shims.
Quoted $242.00 for Bearings and Seals. (Complete rebuild kit.)
Unfortunately no website

Also, for all those *4x4* GMC truck owners who have the Dana Spicer front
and rear axles, I found a real 'old salt' of a guy named Dan in Montana who
has a lot of factory original Dana Spicer replacement parts, including the
Knuckle Felt Seals and Gaskets. He bought up the last production runs of
several parts directly from Dana Spicer. These are not aftermarket parts.
Dan himself knows a lot about axles, as he worked as a mechanic on axles for
decades. A real historian. His stock is selling out, and I ended up buying
two sets of what I needed. One set now and another for the future. Here is
his information:
