Has anyone have any experience with or know what I need to get this accomplished? SO far it looks as though the ball joints will need to be changed along with the outer tierod ends. Will 1971 ball joints and tie rod ends work with the 1968 a-arms and inner tierods? I have heard of people doing this, but I am unable to locate a post here or many other sites. LMC is listing the a-arms as the same from '67 to '72. So tomorrow the new ball joints and tierod ends will be in. Lower control arms almost but not the same from 67-72. The steering stop is different on 71-72. I swapped everything including the lower controll arms. The 67 lower a arm would have given me reduced steering radius without modification to the stop. | | |
