This probably has been asked by another greenhorn like me, but what is the best motor oil to put in a 216 Chevy engine? And what oil is used in the original 4 speed transmission? I haven't got a clue myself and I want to use what is best for the engine before I mess something up. smile Thanks!

I use 15/40 Rotilla oil in my 216,so do alot of people that I know that are driving 216s.

Any "gear box" oil in you're 4 speed will be OK,85,95 wt.
