Any recommendations for companies who make adapters so I can mount my stock 6 lug rims to a later 5 lug rear.
I have an S 10 rear end on hand now. It is said that it is supposed to fit under my 37 1/2ton but it sure looks to be a tight fit (by measurements) Will be doing more dry fitting and measuring, but it sure looks tight.
If it does fit, I am guessing the adapters will push the wheels more to the correct spot in the fender wells.?
 Any feedback on this set up would be helpful. My stock rear end measures 54" backing plate to backing plate, with a measurement of 41" center of spring perch to center of spring perch. The S 10 measures 47 1/2" backing plate to backing plate.

S10s don't come in 6 lug, they're 5x4 3/4 only. Also, the newer Colorado is out, too. While they are 6 lug, the bolt circle is smaller, roughly 5" (actually metric) instead of 5 1/2".
You might be able to find spacers/adapters through American Racing or Cragar. They will move the wheel out at least 1".

Has anyone out there put an S 10 rear under a 37, 1/2 ton or seen one done? Was out of town all day and have not been out to mess with this one yet. This one I got out of a frontend wreck 80's S 10. Planning on tomorrow to fiddle with this puzzle a bit.
