we were noticing that there aren't too many good nos or used parts available any more! how come? are the dealers not showing up or are they staying home and putting them on ebay?

It's a little of both I think. But with all the vendors that were there, sometimes it's easy to miss something. If you have a chance next year visit either Hershey event. The fall event is happening now. Guaranteed you'll find plenty of NOS items, but prices are NOT negotiable.

I have never known any of the aftermarket vendors/dealers, to carry much, by way of NOS parts. The vast majority of the parts offered are imported reproduction parts. As the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks, Panels and Suburbans become more mainstream, relative to the '55-'59s and the '67-'72s, the good, used and NOS parts are being absorbed by the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC truck lovers. Moreover, I have noticed the price of '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks, Panels & Suburbans, gradually climbing, as their popularity gains momentum.
