Hi, I am rebuiding my my rear brakes and noticed one side is missing the spreader bar( parking brake strut &spring) that hooks into the forward rear shoe and goes to the parking brake shoe lever. It is round, L shaped on one end with a notch and spring on the other. If anyone has or knows where I can source one let me know.
Just starting a restoration.

Steve

I'm about to junk what's left of my 53 1-ton (wrecked), but I'm pretty sure I have 1 side of the parking brake assembly on the truck (there was only 1 side there when I got the truck in the first place!). It's a busy few days coming up but hopefully I can get out there some time before the weekend is up and let you know. Feel free to bug me if you don't hear back.

Hey, that would be great if you have one. Don't know if they are interchangeable but my drivers side one is missing.

thanks

sent you a pm earlier, maybe you didn't get it? is it possible for you to send a picture of the part you need? I'm still not sure exactly what part you need. Also, I don't think I have the original rear end on my truck, so I don't know if the parts will match up or not.
