Can some one tell me if the 235 in the 56-3100 is suposed to be blue or gray (block). I was told that the cars were blue&the trucks were gray is there any thing to that? Also is there a place that I can find some good old pictures of the 235`s in their original or factory look. Thanks Very Much, Howard

Stuart, one of the best sources for the correct engine colors are from the Filling Station they put a lot of effort into getting just the right color match. Give them a try.

What is the difference between the Thriftmaster 235 and Thriftmaster Special 235 for 1956 trucks? Other than the color!!

The Thriftmaster Special is the engine for the forward control models (3400,3500,3700) and was equipped with an updraft carb and intake.
