For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 127 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 127 | I have a 41 1.5 ton chevy truck. The front bumper on my truck had been painted gray along time ago, I want the paint off. Are the bumpers from these trucks chrome or stainless steel? I'm trying to decide if I can use paint stripper or do I have to be more careful because of the chrome underneath. Thanks for the help, Rob | | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 544 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 544 | I believe that stripper would be safe, but a lyewater electrolysis would be safe for either chrome or stainless. | | |
