I'm glad I did because the rivots were perty much on their last leg. I believe, if I remember right, removing the fenders made it easier. Take the hood latch panel off, the grill attaches to the fenders on either side, and along the bottom. can take the whole grill out fairly easily without removing the fenders.

But i just got thrown a curve ball being that my trucks on a later frame so the frame rails are actually in the way of removing the grill from the bottom. i was thinking id just cut out the bent up parts and weld in new sections from my parts truck | | |
