As mentioned in another post I am trying to clean up some parts and make some headway. I started cleaning up this air filter and couldn't figure how to replace the actual filter element and it doesn't look like either one of the ones in the shop manual. So i started looking through the web for pics of oil bath air filters and came across one on ebay that looks pretty close to mine but its listed as a ford air filter. What do you guys think?

Looks like a Chevy to me.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Fords usually had the long butterfly bolt. However, if it fits your Chevy, it is a Chevy.

With that tapered clamp ring it looks like a Mopar filter for a single-barrel Stromberg carb for a flathead six. It's supposed to have the long bolt with the key-shaped handle like the one on Epay.

Wash the filter in solvent and then fill the bowl with oil up to the mark.
